2027 Anaheim Trade Show Calendar: Major Events and More Shows

Choosing among Anaheim events takes more than comparing dates. A professional trade show may put your product in front of distributors or engineers, while a fan convention may only fit a consumer activation. This guide matches the 2027 calendar with current audience, exhibitor and international-market data so you can identify the events worth space, sponsorship or travel.

Anaheim's 2027 Calendar Mixes Three Different Audiences

Anaheim hosts trade-only markets, professional education events and public or creator conventions. Dates were checked against organizer information on September 3, 2026; verify the current edition before committing space or travel.

VidCon AnaheimJuly 8–10Pro, Creator and Fan communitiesBrands can select the community that matches a creator, platform or consumer goal.

The individual profiles below keep the scale evidence that changes each decision. A 65,000-person fan event and a 3,500-person technical conference are not larger and smaller versions of the same opportunity.

Major Trade Shows, Expos, and Conventions in Anaheim

The NAMM Show

NAMM's 2026 post-show report counted more than 60,000 attendees, 1,650 exhibitors and 5,400 brands. That scale creates reach and heavy competition for attention. A smaller manufacturer therefore needs to show retailers, distributors, artists or integrators what can be tried and why it matters before asking for a meeting.

If your instrument needs to be played, placement is only the first decision. You need enough separation for a meaningful trial, a staff route that keeps the product reset and a plan for volume limits. The same trade-off applies to audio and lighting: your demonstration has to be convincing at close range even when the hall is already visually and acoustically busy.

The full event runs January 26–30, while exhibits are listed for January 28–30. Build staffing and freight dates from the exhibitor schedule, not from the first day printed on an attendee-facing calendar.

Premiere Anaheim

The 2026 organizer recap reports more than 11,500 visitors and 160+ exhibiting brands; 94% of surveyed attendees said they made a purchase. The relevant signal is the combination of professional buying and live education: a working demonstration can do more than a static beauty display.

If your product needs a model, sink, water, task lighting, sanitation station or consumable reset, those requirements belong in the layout from the start. A beauty demonstration that looks effortless to the audience may depend on a tightly controlled backstage routine. Your working area also needs room for the next group to see the technique without blocking the neighboring aisle.

MD&M West

The organizer currently publishes 13,800+ verified attendees and 1,700+ exhibitors. Engineers and sourcing teams use that market to compare components, machines, contract services and integrated production solutions, so a product display needs to answer a production question rather than merely present the brand.

Your equipment display should connect the machine to an application. Let visitors see the working zone, what enters the process and the output or quality change. Keep a quieter discussion point nearby, because the questions your specialists need to answer about cycle time, tolerances, integration, validation and service rarely fit into a thirty-second aisle pitch.

Machine dimensions, weight, power, compressed air, guarding and material handling can eliminate an otherwise attractive location. Resolve them before approving the floor plan.

Natural Products Expo West

The organizer's latest profile lists 66,000+ attendees and 3,200+ exhibitors across established and emerging brands. That competitive density makes category, difference and retail readiness more useful at first glance than a long origin story. Buyers should understand where the product belongs before sampling begins.

Treat your sample as the beginning of the discussion, not the objective. The front of the booth should make the product and category easy to recognize; after tasting, visitors need a clear route toward ingredients, pack format, channel fit, distribution or an appointment. Your cold storage, handwashing, waste, allergen information and replenishment plan all consume real floor area.

Expo West lists March 2–5 for the event and March 3–5 for the exhibit hall. Exhibitors should schedule booth staffing around the published hall hours rather than assuming every conference day is a selling day.

WonderCon

The organizer reported more than 65,000 attendees for the 2025 edition and currently describes an exhibit hall with 900+ exhibitors across 412,000 square feet. Those are valuable scale indicators, but they describe a fan marketplace, not 65,000 wholesale buyers. For a licensed-product company, publisher or entertainment brand, that crowd can support launches, direct sales and content. For an industrial supplier, the same number has little commercial meaning.

It is a weaker choice when the only objective is a private distributor schedule or access to a narrowly defined professional buyer. Evaluate sponsorship or exhibition by the consumer response you need—sales, product trial, content or community participation—rather than comparing its ticketed audience with a wholesale trade show.

APEX EXPO

IPC's 2025 post-show release separates the metrics clearly: 3,541 attendees from 39 countries, 402 exhibitors, 132,100 net square feet and 6,863 total visitors after exhibitor personnel are included. It also reports 22,900 qualified sales leads. That is a smaller audience than a consumer convention, but it is concentrated around electronics design and production. Technical credibility, process data and engineer access matter more here than mass foot traffic.

The distinction between meeting and exhibition dates matters commercially. Technical meetings run April 3–8, while the exhibition is April 6–8. A company pursuing standards, engineering knowledge and peer exchange may use the wider week; an exhibitor focused on floor appointments should schedule around the three exhibition days.

CDA Presents

CDA records 19,093 total participants for 2026 and notes that its registration methodology changed that year, so earlier totals should not be used as a clean year-over-year comparison. The official 2026 guide lists Dentsply Sirona, Henry Schein Dental, Invisalign, Crest + Oral-B, Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals and Haleon/Sensodyne among the exhibitors. These names also reveal the competitive range: equipment, aligners, professional supplies, oral care and practice solutions share the floor. A supplier needs to identify whether the decision sits with a clinician, practice owner, hygienist, lab or purchasing team before choosing its message.

It is less useful for a supplier whose offer sits several steps upstream and cannot be related to a dental practice, laboratory or purchasing decision. The organizer lists May 13–15, 2027. Exhibitors should compare the education schedule and exhibit-hall hours when arranging customer meetings, because the professional audience divides its day between both.

VidCon Anaheim

VidCon's latest published Pro audience profile lists 5,000+ industry attendees, 200+ speakers, 100+ media outlets and representation from 50+ countries. The 2026 professional program featured organizations such as YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram and Rumble alongside agencies, creators and service platforms. Those figures apply to the professional community, not the entire fan event. If your objective is creator partnerships or platform relationships, Pro access may matter more than the largest public crowd around the booth.

Decide which pass community the activation is meant to reach before designing it. A public photo experience can generate a long line and still be a poor setting for professional product discussions. Conversely, an enclosed meeting room may waste the energy that makes a fan-facing activation work. VidCon belongs on an Anaheim opportunity list, but it should not be evaluated like a conventional wholesale trade show.

The eight events above deserve fuller comparison because they attract large or commercially distinct audiences. The following publicly announced events expand the calendar without giving every show the same weight. This list covers events with a visible exhibition, sponsorship, supplier or professional-attendance opportunity; it does not attempt to include private corporate meetings, banquets or every convention-center booking.

An event belongs on your commercial calendar only when its sponsorship, exhibition or attendee structure gives your business a realistic way to reach the intended audience. A date and venue tell you when to plan; the buyer role and participation model tell you whether to exhibit.

What Exhibitors Should Know About Anaheim Convention Center Events

Exhibit service work supporting an Anaheim trade show setup
Anaheim exhibit planning must include the venue service process, utilities, labor windows and final show-floor handoff.

“Anaheim Convention Center” is not a complete delivery instruction for your shipment. Match the hall, booth number, target move-in, advance-warehouse address, direct-to-show window and official service providers to the current exhibitor manual. A label showing only the public venue address can send your freight outside the handling process assigned to the show.

The show changes the operating requirements as much as the building does. Machinery at MD&M may need rigging, power, air and guarding. A food sample at Expo West brings refrigeration, sanitation and waste. A beauty demonstration may require water and task lighting. A consumer activation at WonderCon or VidCon may need queue capacity and higher-frequency reset. These are floor-plan decisions, not details to add after graphics are approved.

For an overseas exhibitor, make one party responsible for the handoff between international freight, the U.S. carrier, the advance warehouse or show site, installation, dismantling and return or disposal. The customs broker and qualified product-compliance parties should retain responsibility for customs and regulated-product decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the major trade shows in Anaheim?

The best-known 2027 Anaheim business events include The NAMM Show for music products, MD&M West for advanced manufacturing, Natural Products Expo West for natural and organic consumer products, APEX EXPO for electronics manufacturing, and CDA Presents for dentistry. WonderCon and VidCon are also major Anaheim events, but they include consumer and creator audiences rather than operating as trade-only shows.

Where are most Anaheim trade shows held?

Many of the city's largest events are held at Anaheim Convention Center, 800 West Katella Avenue. Some programs, registrations, receptions or meetings may also use adjacent hotels. Exhibitors still need the exact building, hall and freight instructions from the specific event; the venue name alone is not enough for shipping or labor planning.

Can the public attend Anaheim events?

WonderCon admits public ticket holders, and VidCon sells Fan and Creator Track access. NAMM, Expo West, MD&M West, APEX EXPO, CDA Presents and Premiere Anaheim use trade, professional or category-specific credentials; they should not be treated as general-public events. Check the current badge category before inviting a guest.
