A clean-energy manufacturer can reserve an RE+ booth long before the operating details are complete. That gap is where avoidable mistakes begin: an old rate enters the budget, a previous move-in date reaches the carrier, or a product demonstration is designed before its service needs are known.
This RE+ 2027 exhibitor guide is for a first-time international exhibitor. It separates the facts the organizer has confirmed from the decisions your team can make now and the instructions that must wait for the 2027 exhibitor documents.
Start with the confirmed RE+ 2027 facts
| Item | Confirmed information | What it lets you decide now |
|---|---|---|
| Event | RE+ | Use the flagship event, not a regional RE+ event, in your project records |
| Dates | November 15–18, 2027 | Hold the Las Vegas travel and project window |
| Venue | Las Vegas Convention Center | Plan for Las Vegas, but wait for the assigned hall and booth before routing freight or staff |
| Venue address | 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109 | Identify the facility; do not use the street address as a shipping label |
| Industry scope | Solar, energy storage, microgrids, wind, hydrogen, EV charging and infrastructure, plus related clean-energy technologies | Test whether your product and target accounts belong in the flagship audience |
RE+ has not yet published the 2027 split between Full Conference Education and Exhibits & Show Floor. The official site currently shows a separate education and exhibition schedule for 2026, but that is not permission to assign the same weekdays or hours to 2027. Treat November 15–18 as the confirmed event span until the 2027 schedule states which days the hall is open.

The venue name is also only the first layer of the logistics address. Your contract, floor plan and service manual must supply the building or hall, booth number, target date, carrier instructions and official label. A crate addressed only to the convention center is not a completed freight plan.
Understand what RE+ brings together
RE+ grew from Solar Power International and Energy Storage International into a broader clean-energy event. Powered by the Solar Energy Industries Association and the Smart Electric Power Alliance, it combines business and education across solar, storage, hydrogen, microgrids, EV charging and infrastructure, wind, and technologies that support a modern grid.
The current exhibit page identifies an audience that includes engineering, procurement and construction companies; manufacturers; consultants; installers; project developers; independent power producers; distributors; financiers; software companies; electric utilities; and storage specialists. It also lists attendee interests such as batteries, PV modules, inverters, racking and mounting, microgrids, software, EV infrastructure, load management, wind, fuel cells and electrolyzers.
Those lists do not mean every visitor is a prospect. They help you choose the one conversation the booth must earn. A battery-component manufacturer seeking OEM engineering discussions needs different proof and staff from a software company seeking utility users. Write the priority role, application and next action before selecting screens, counters or meeting rooms.
The organizer reports that RE+ 2025 drew 37,000 attendees and 1,350 exhibitors. That is a historical result, not a 2027 forecast or a promise of traffic at any booth. Its practical meaning is that discovery cannot depend on people walking every aisle. Your official directory entry, product category, customer outreach, booth message and meeting plan must all point the same target visitor to the same reason to stop.
Check whether exhibiting is the right participation route
The current RE+ site presents several commercial routes, including exhibit space, meeting rooms, sponsorships and a startup program. The 2027 availability, packages, rates and eligibility have not been posted, so use these as route names to investigate rather than products you can already budget.

Exhibit space is most defensible when a physical product, working system, integration or visible comparison helps the target visitor evaluate you. A meeting room may be more useful when discussions are confidential, scheduled and difficult to conduct on an aisle. Sponsorship can increase visibility, but it does not repair an unclear audience or weak follow-up. A startup route only fits if the 2027 program exists and your company meets its current conditions.
Ask the sales team for the 2027 prospectus, floor plan and contract terms when they become available. Confirm what the space includes, what it excludes, the cancellation schedule, payment dates, badge allocation and the primary contact who will receive portal access. Do not place a 2026 booth rate into an approved 2027 budget without labeling it as an old reference.
Build the project around five official records
RE+ exhibitors do not receive every instruction in one document. Keep five linked records and assign one person to control their revisions.
1. Space contract and floor plan
The contract establishes what you bought. The floor plan establishes where it sits. Record the booth number, dimensions, open sides, neighboring spaces, hall, orientation and any package description. A sales rendering or verbal location is not a substitute for the contracted space.
Do not release the exhibit design while the hall, footprint or open sides remain uncertain. Those fields control sightlines, entrances, storage, demonstration orientation and sometimes the approval path.
2. Exhibitor Portal
The official Exhibitor Resources page directs exhibitors to a portal for show information, deadlines, ordering, shipping and payment. Make the person named as the primary show contact the internal portal owner, then provide controlled access or exports to the exhibit, logistics, finance and marketing leads.
Keep a log with the item, source link, document year, revision date, internal owner, official due date and status. If a deadline changes, update one record and notify the people whose work depends on it. Copying dates into disconnected email threads makes an old instruction look current.
3. Rules and Regulations
The rules determine whether the design can be built and operated. The 2027 edition should be checked for booth type, height and sightline limits, hanging signs, floor covering, fire and safety documentation, enclosed rooms or multi-level structures, vehicles, demonstrations, sound, lighting, accessibility, appointed contractors and drawing review.
The 2026 rules show why waiting matters. That cycle uses target move-in, establishes a booth-plan submission process for certain larger spaces and sets show-specific work and access conditions. These are useful headings for your internal checklist. Their measurements, thresholds, forms and dates are not 2027 instructions.
4. Exhibitor Service Manual
The service manual connects the booth to labor, material handling, electricity, internet, plumbing, rigging, cleaning, furniture, audiovisual services and freight. It should identify ordering channels, rates, discount deadlines, facility contacts, warehouse and direct-shipping instructions, and the target schedule.
Build a service schedule from the approved product and booth plan, not from last year's order. For every service, record the required capacity, delivery location, operating hours, ordering party, confirmation number and drawing revision. A correct electrical total delivered to the wrong side of a demonstration is still a project failure.
5. Your product and operating file
The organizer cannot define how your equipment should be demonstrated. For each live product or system, record:
- operating and packed dimensions and weight;
- lifting points and handling restrictions supplied by the product owner;
- voltage, phase, amperage, plug and startup load;
- network, cloud or wireless dependency;
- liquids, gases, water, drains, exhaust or compressed air;
- heat, noise, motion, stored energy and visitor barriers;
- startup, shutdown, reset and cleaning time;
- consumables, waste and daily replenishment;
- backup unit, offline mode and critical spares;
- the person authorized to operate and troubleshoot it.
Place each connection and clearance on the same plan used for service orders. If the product specification changes, the plan and affected orders need a new review.
Turn one buyer question into the booth's main proof
RE+ covers an unusually wide energy market. A long product wall may demonstrate range while making the first conversation harder to begin. Choose one question that your priority visitor already asks and decide what the booth can show that a website cannot.

For an inverter or storage system, that proof might be an integration path, service-access feature or operating interface. For mounting hardware, it might be assembly, adjustability or a physical cross-section. For grid software, it may be a guided workflow using an honest demonstration dataset. For hydrogen or EV infrastructure, the booth may need to explain the system boundary before it shows an individual component.
Write three layers of communication:
- From the aisle, the right visitor can identify the product and application.
- At the demonstration, the visitor can see evidence for one relevant claim.
- In conversation, staff can confirm conditions, limitations and the next technical or commercial step.
Do not make a live connection, sample output or recorded screen appear to prove more than it does. Mark simulated or recorded content. Keep engineering claims tied to the configuration and conditions your product team has approved.
Design the visitor route for the people you need to meet
The target account determines the useful route through the space. An EPC or project developer may need application fit, delivery responsibility and integration evidence. A utility contact may need the system boundary, operating data and the correct technical owner. A distributor may need product range, channel terms and support boundaries. An installer may focus on handling, connection, commissioning or service access.

Give each activity a location. Put quick qualification where it does not block the demonstration. Keep longer technical reviews away from the aisle. Protect doors, panels and emergency access around equipment. Store daily consumables and personal items out of the visitor path.
Then test the route with the actual team. One person approaches from the aisle, another runs the demonstration, and a third joins midway with a technical question. If the staff must step into an aisle, stand behind a screen or cross a queue to reset the product, revise the layout before submitting it.
Prepare for the 2027 rules without inventing them
The safest early plan is a decision register, not a copied schedule. Create three status labels:
- Confirmed by RE+ 2027 source — the current official document directly supports the entry.
- Internal decision — your company owns the choice, such as the priority visitor or backup demo.
- Pending 2027 publication — the organizer, venue or official provider has not issued the controlling instruction.
The pending list should include at least:
| Workstream | Wait for the 2027 source before final action |
|---|---|
| Design approval | Booth classification, height, setbacks, hanging sign rules, review threshold, forms and due date |
| Contractors | Exhibitor-appointed-contractor registration, insurance, credentials, labor access and deadline |
| Services | Official providers, exclusive scopes, rates, advance-order dates and onsite contacts |
| Freight | Advance warehouse, direct-to-show address, labels, receiving window, target move-in and marshalling instructions |
| Installation | Hall access, work hours, badges, labor rules, equipment route and inspection sequence |
| Show operation | Exhibits & Show Floor dates/hours, early access, demonstration restrictions and event permissions |
| Move-out | Hall closing time, empty-container return, carrier check-in, paperwork and final removal time |
Older documents can reveal what questions exist. They cannot close a pending item. When the 2027 manual appears, compare it line by line with every assumption already used in the budget, drawings, orders and carrier brief.
Control freight from the assigned target, not the event dates
Freight planning begins after the official route and target schedule are known. The four event dates do not tell a driver when freight can arrive.

Separate exhibit property, products, tools, spare parts, samples and staff-carried items. For every shipment, record the ship-from location, piece count, packed dimensions and weight, responsible carrier, customs status when relevant, official label, target or appointment, receiving contact and return destination.
International teams also need a named process for temporary or permanent import, commercial documents, duties and taxes, and re-export or onward shipping. The exhibit company, general services contractor and venue do not automatically become the importer of record or customs broker.
The 2026 exhibitor information names Freeman for that cycle and publishes specific warehouse windows, target move-in instructions and material-handling conditions. None of those dates or appointments should be reused for 2027. Confirm the provider and routing in the 2027 manual before tendering freight.
Write the move-out plan at the same time as the outbound plan. Decide what returns, what travels to another event, what enters storage and what can be disposed of under current rules. Assign the carrier, paperwork owner and late-carrier fallback before the shipment leaves your facility.
Separate exhibit-hall access from conference education
RE+ combines an exhibition with education and networking, but a booth badge should not be assumed to include every conference session or event. Current RE+ resources distinguish exhibitor hall access from full-conference access. The 2027 pass names, allocations, prices and inclusions remain unpublished.
Build two staff lists. The operating list covers installation, booth shifts, demonstrations and dismantling. The education list identifies who needs specific conference content and who will cover the booth while that person is away. Only buy or assign passes after the 2027 registration matrix is available.
This distinction also matters when you invite customers. Confirm what a customer invitation includes, on which days it is valid and whether registration is required. Do not promise conference access based on an expo-hall invitation.
Use a staged RE+ 2027 readiness review
You can move forward before every official date exists if each stage has a clear release condition.

Stage one: participation fit
Confirm the target account, visitor role, product/application match, main proof and desired next action. Request the 2027 commercial documents. Do not approve a space solely because RE+ is large.
Stage two: contracted space
Record the signed footprint, hall, open sides, package inclusions, payment terms and portal owner. Start the exhibit brief from these facts.
Stage three: product and design coordination
Freeze the product configuration, clearances, services, operating method and visitor boundary. Check the design against the newly issued 2027 rules and submit required drawings.
Stage four: orders and freight
Use the 2027 service manual to place orders and route freight. Reconcile order confirmations with the final plan, target schedule and carrier brief.
Stage five: show operation and return
Test startup, demonstration, reset and shutdown. Train staff on claims, qualification, escalation and lead records. Confirm move-out paperwork and the return or onward destination.
At every review, unresolved items need an owner, controlling source and next check date. “Waiting for the manual” is a status, not an owner.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is RE+ 2027 in Anaheim or Las Vegas?
RE+ 2027 is scheduled for November 15–18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. RE+ was held in Anaheim in earlier years, so old articles, photos and vendor documents may still refer to Anaheim. Use the organizer's Future Dates page and your 2027 contract rather than a prior-city search result.
Are November 15–18 all exhibition-hall days?
The organizer has confirmed the overall 2027 event dates but has not yet published the 2027 division between Full Conference Education and Exhibits & Show Floor. Do not convert the four-day span into booth staffing or customer-invitation hours until the official 2027 schedule is available.
Can we use the RE+ 2026 exhibitor manual to estimate the work?
Use it to identify workstreams such as drawing review, service orders, freight, target move-in and contractor access. Keep every 2026 rate, vendor, threshold, address and deadline out of the approved 2027 plan unless the new manual confirms it. Label old information as a planning reference, not a current rule.
Can an attendee sell in the aisles without exhibiting?
RE+ describes unauthorized solicitation by attendees as suitcasing and prohibits it. If your objective is to market products or services at the event, use an official participation route and the credentials allowed for that route. Recheck the 2027 policy wording when registration and rules are released.
When should an international exhibitor ship its booth and products?
There is no reliable universal date. Wait for the 2027 advance-warehouse or direct-shipping window and your booth's target move-in schedule. Then work backward for production, packing, export documents, customs handling and transit. Event opening dates are not receiving dates.
What should we ask RE+ before approving the booth design?
Ask for the contracted hall and footprint, current floor plan, 2027 Rules and Regulations, drawing-review requirements, Exhibitor Service Manual, target schedule, contractor procedure and the official contacts for every required service. Put unanswered items on the drawing instead of allowing the designer to assume a standard show rule.
Finish with a source-controlled plan
RE+ 2027 gives your team a confirmed destination and event window. It does not yet give you a complete operating schedule. The useful work now is to choose the audience and proof, define the product's real requirements, secure the correct space, and keep every unresolved show condition visible.
Before any drawing, order or shipping brief is released, attach its controlling 2027 source and revision date. That discipline will do more for show readiness than filling a calendar with dates copied from the previous edition.
