An Orlando event can look right by industry and still be wrong for your team if the audience, event format or OCCC building does not match what you need to present. This guide combines 2027 dates with the latest official audience, exhibitor, buyer and international-market data available, then shows how the hall, freight route, utilities and demonstration conditions can change the cost and practicality of exhibiting.

Orlando's main shows follow different cycles: Surf Expo runs in January and September, while the other profiled events are annual. IAAPA Expo belongs on the planning horizon, but its 2027 week was still unpublished when this guide was checked. The profiles below use each organizer's latest available figures only where they help answer a practical question: who attends, how buyers use the event, and what the exhibit must support.
Nine Orlando Shows and the Exhibits They Demand

ASI Show Orlando
ASI's 2026 event report records 572 booths and visitors from nearly all 50 states and 15 countries. It reports “thousands” of attendees rather than one auditable headcount, so the distributor channel is more useful than a guessed audience ranking. If you want distributor orders, prepare decoration methods, price tiers, production lead times and fulfillment support alongside the samples.
Companies built only for direct-to-consumer orders may find the channel less suitable unless they are prepared to work through promotional-product distributors. The deciding issue is the wholesale program behind the item, not how many products can be brought to Orlando.
Surf Expo
Surf Expo runs twice annually, in January and September. Its latest organizer recap reports a 15% increase in attending retail companies but does not publish an absolute attendance total. The registered retailer mix includes large outdoor and sporting-goods buyers, so exhibitors should be ready to discuss complete wholesale collections, delivery confidence and sell-through potential for specialty and destination retail.
It is especially relevant to brands whose distribution already includes specialty retail, resorts, coastal stores or outdoor accounts. A general apparel company with no relationship to the lifestyle or channel should not treat the “apparel” category alone as evidence of fit.
PGA Show
The 2026 post-show report counted 34,000+ industry professionals and 1,195 participating brands. More useful for an exhibitor, it identified 1,300+ VIP buyers from 910 facilities and retailers. Test conditions and the operating or resale case therefore deserve as much attention as visual presentation.
A club, training tool or simulator needs a defined testing area and a safe swing or movement boundary. Software and facility solutions need a short demonstration that reaches a meaningful result before the attendee leaves for the next appointment. The event runs January 26–29, while exhibits are January 27–29, so booth staffing should follow the exhibit schedule.
NADA Show
NADA described its 2026 audience as tens of thousands of automotive-retail professionals and recorded 628 exhibitors. Dealer groups, OEM executives, managers and allied-industry providers form the relevant audience, so a product claim should be translated into dealership revenue, compliance, service capacity, customer experience or measurable operating efficiency.
This is a useful event when the offer connects to dealership revenue, compliance, customer experience or operating efficiency and the company can speak to dealer decision-makers. A consumer automotive product with no dealer program is a different proposition. The full convention is February 17–20; the expo is February 18–20.
AIMExpo
AIMExpo's latest published commercial profile reports more than 2,800 dealers, with 91% influencing or making buying decisions. That buyer signal is stronger than the show's raw footprint: margin, fitment, service, inventory and product availability need to sit beside the vehicle or hero product.
Position the hero unit so visitors can see its profile without stepping into the operating path, then keep technical access and staff circulation open. If a product must be mounted, powered or demonstrated, verify fuel, battery, electrical and safety rules in the current manual. A dramatic vehicle display is unsuccessful when it prevents dealers from reaching the people who can answer buying questions.
Global Pet Expo
The organizer's latest media profile reports 22,000+ registrations, 1,100+ exhibiting companies and 3,100+ booths. Because the first number is registrations, it should not be described as verified hall attendance. The official exhibitor directory includes established manufacturers, distributors and emerging pet brands across food, treats, health, accessories, aquatics and services. That density means “pet product” is not a sufficient booth message; your category, retail price architecture, packaging, order program and reason for shelf space need to be obvious.
Retail readiness matters. An interesting prototype without a clear product category, pack format or next commercial step may be too early for the buying task. Any sampling or animal-related activity also needs specific organizer approval; public pet-event practices do not automatically transfer to a trade show.
Coverings
Coverings describes its audience as nearly 25,000 professionals. Its 2026 post-show report records 750 exhibitors from nearly 40 countries and says 77% of attendees were directly involved in purchasing or specification. Ceramics of Italy, Tile of Spain and StoneByPortugal are prominent official country or industry pavilions rather than individual brands. This international structure matters: architects may judge applications and certification, distributors may look at range and supply, and fabricators or contractors need installation and handling details.
Use large enough applications to show scale, pattern and finish, then provide a controlled way to inspect smaller samples. Stone crates, tile panels and mock installations affect floor loading, material handling and labor. The sample plan and the shipping plan should be developed together; bringing more material is not useful if the booth cannot safely display or repack it.
InfoComm
AVIXA's 2026 report records 28,132 verified attendees, 807 exhibitors and an audience in which 37% were end users. That mix explains why a working application matters: integrators and end users need to see how audio, video, control and network components perform together.
Design the demonstration for the hall you will actually occupy. Ambient noise changes an audio demo; overhead light affects image quality; network congestion can break a cloud workflow. Give each demonstration one observable outcome and prepare a fallback recording or local environment for the parts that depend on venue connectivity.
IAAPA Expo
The organizer's latest Orlando profile projects more than 30,000 participants and 1,100+ exhibitors. Category breadth is the key implication: an attraction owner may be sourcing a ride, ticketing platform, food item, safety system or complete guest experience. Your exhibit needs to identify the operator problem and buying department before the spectacle begins.
The best candidates solve an operating, revenue, safety or guest-experience need for an attraction. The organizer had not published 2027 dates when this guide was checked, so the event belongs on the planning horizon without an assumed production or travel week.
More Orlando Trade Shows and Expos in 2027
Orlando hosts far more commercial events than the nine shows profiled above. The table below adds publicly announced events with a visible exhibition, sponsorship, supplier or professional-attendance opportunity; it excludes private meetings and ordinary venue bookings that give outside companies no practical way to participate.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Central Florida Home | January 9–10 | OCCC | Home improvement, remodeling and consumer home products | Local contractors, home-product brands and consumer demonstrations |
| VMX | January 16–20 | OCCC | Veterinary medicine, animal health, practice equipment and services | Animal-health manufacturers, diagnostics, software and veterinary suppliers |
| FETC | January 26–29 | OCCC | Education technology, school systems and classroom innovation | Edtech companies selling to educators and district decision-makers |

What Exhibitors Should Know About the OCCC

The West Building and the North/South Building are not interchangeable labels. Each has its own hall access, docks, service points and attendee approaches. Your contract, floor plan, target move-in, shipping labels and installation plan must point to the same building and hall.
The exhibit determines the next layer of planning:
- Heavy machinery, vehicles, stone and large crates need confirmed dock access, floor loading, handling equipment and move-in sequence.
- Professional AV systems need power, signal, rigging, sound control, network fallback and enough commissioning time.
- Food, beverage, pet or beauty sampling needs the organizer's approval plus sanitation, storage, waste and replenishment.
- Portable products still need a realistic receiving plan; “small booth” does not mean a parcel can be carried through any entrance at any time.
Ask for the current exhibitor service manual as soon as the booth is assigned. Mark the advance-warehouse dates, direct-to-show receiving window, discount-order deadlines, required forms and dismantling release. Then test the floor plan with the actual product, cases, staff and visitor path.
An international shipment should have a named owner for each handoff: origin freight, customs broker, U.S. carrier, advance warehouse or show site, installation, dismantling and return or disposal. Customs and regulated-product decisions remain with qualified responsible parties; the booth schedule must be built around their confirmed process.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the major trade shows in Orlando?
Major 2027 Orlando events include PGA Show for golf, NADA Show for franchised automotive retail, Global Pet Expo for pet products, Coverings for tile and stone, and InfoComm for professional AV. IAAPA Expo is a major attractions-industry show, but its 2027 dates were still TBA when this guide was updated.
Where are most Orlando trade shows held?
Many of Orlando's largest trade shows use the Orange County Convention Center. The campus includes the West Building and the North/South Building, so exhibitors need the exact building and hall—not only “OCCC”—for freight, labor, utilities and meeting directions.
Can the public attend Orlando trade shows?
MEGACON is a ticketed public convention. Surf Expo is trade only, while PGA Show, NADA Show, Global Pet Expo, Coverings, InfoComm and IAAPA Expo use business, professional or category-specific registration. The event's badge rules—not the fact that it uses the OCCC—decide whether a guest can enter.
