Retail Supply Chain & Logistics Expo New York 2026: Exhibitor Guide

Your fulfillment software may solve a retailer’s warehouse problem, but will the right people see it here? Retail Supply Chain & Logistics Expo New York is built around retail operations. Here is what its audience and exhibitor mix mean for your booth, and what to confirm before booking.

The US event is in New York

Event information checked September 7, 2026.

The current US edition is scheduled for September 30–October 1, 2026. It belongs to Business Show Media’s event portfolio. This guide covers New York, rather than the separate London edition. Event details · Organizer

The venue is the Javits Center. The published opening hours are 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on September 30 and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on October 1. Check the latest instructions before booking travel. New York schedule

The show focuses on how retailers move and fulfill orders. It is a business sourcing event: the useful conversation for your team is about a retailer’s operation, rather than selling merchandise to shoppers. The organizer addresses independent retailers as well as major chains and includes warehouse transformation and supply chain technology roles in its audience description. Audience information

What the New York exhibitor list tells you

The New York directory covers warehousing, robotics and stock management. It also lists third-party logistics providers, including Basic 3PL and Fulfillment-Box Logistic. These listings put fulfillment software in a relevant commercial setting, although they do not tell you which visitors have an active software project. Exhibitor directory

That distinction matters if you sell a system that needs a substantial implementation. A growing online seller looking for outsourced fulfillment may have no warehouse to run with your software. A retailer keeping fulfillment in-house may be a much better prospect, even with a smaller order volume. Start conversations by asking who operates the warehouse before opening the product demo.

The announced speaker lineup includes Taylor Ellis of Foot Locker and Ajith Vasudevan of Wayfair, whose listed roles relate to fulfillment. Their inclusion supports the event’s retail operations focus. It does not promise access to their companies’ buying teams. Use the program to identify relevant discussions, then arrange your own prospect meetings. New York speakers

For your shortlist, the strongest case for exhibiting is a product you can show against a recognizable retail fulfillment problem. A weak case is hoping the word “retail” will bring enterprise contracts to a general software pitch. Ask the organizer for an audience breakdown that distinguishes retailers from vendors and service providers; company logos alone cannot answer that question.

Three neighboring shows change the conversation

The organizer’s floorplan page places this expo alongside White & Private Label Expo, Smart Retail Tech, and E-commerce Packaging & Labeling Expo. The floorplan itself requires an inquiry form, so confirm your actual location before choosing a booth layout. New York floorplan information

This mix gives you a reason to explain the order journey clearly. Someone exploring a private-label product may still be deciding how to fulfill it; someone comparing packaging may already have a warehouse bottleneck. Both can approach the same screen with different questions. Let your opening question establish whether they need software for their own operation or a company to ship orders for them.

Keep your booth message specific enough to make that distinction from the aisle. If accurate for your product, “See how an online order reaches the packing bench” says more than “Transform your supply chain.” Avoid presenting every neighboring show’s visitor as a likely software customer.

Show a retail order, not a tour of every feature

For this event, build a short demonstration around one order that a warehouse cannot simply pick as requested. For example, use a clearly labeled sample order with one unavailable item. Show what the operator sees, what the software does next, and where a person must make a decision. Choose an exception your product can actually resolve, so the prospect can follow it from the first alert to the next action.

Then bring the evidence needed to discuss the system behind that screen. If your pitch concerns fewer picking mistakes, have a permitted case example with its measurement period and operating conditions. If you have no measured customer result, show the workflow without attaching a savings figure. A polished animation should not have to carry a claim you cannot explain.

Give the prospect room to explain how their warehouse management system handles that same order today. A simple diagram of the systems your product actually supports can make that conversation easier. Mark any proposed integration as proposed. Keep a recorded version of the demonstration ready, and test it on the equipment you will bring.

Settle the booth services before finalizing the demo

Visitor tickets are promoted as free, but exhibiting is a paid opportunity subject to commercial terms. Request an itemized quote and confirm what comes with your selected space. Exhibitor inquiry

The 2026 supplier page identifies GES as the official contractor and Javits as the exclusive internet provider. It lists September 7 for GES incentive pricing and September 15 for the internet discount deadline. A late booking therefore needs current service prices, not an assumption that early rates remain available. Official suppliers

Tell the service team whether the demonstration needs a live cloud connection. Ask for the connection and power specifications before you order screens or commit to a live integration. Set the screen where a visitor can watch without stopping in the aisle, and leave a separate place for a private implementation discussion. Confirm the design against the rules for your booked booth; a general booth sketch is not approval.

For pipe-and-drape exhibits, setup is listed for September 29, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Space-only construction needs a separately confirmed access time and an approved exhibitor-appointed contractor. Hand carry is restricted to the Inner Roadway. Do not plan equipment delivery through a visitor entrance. Setup and access instructions

Before authorizing production, obtain the applicable height limits, service order forms and equipment permissions from your account manager. Ask for written approval of your specific display before releasing drawings to the builder.

FAQ

Can a startup use this show to find partners rather than retail customers?

Yes, as a separate objective. The third-party logistics companies in the directory may be potential implementation or referral partners, depending on your product. Arrange a conversation about the customers each party serves and who would support an installation. Do not count a vendor exchange as a qualified retail sales opportunity simply because it happened at this expo.

Is speed networking a substitute for booth meetings?

Treat it as an introduction. The organizer describes brief exchanges with a minute to pitch on each side. Use that time to establish whether the other person runs a warehouse operation that your software can serve, then arrange a longer conversation if there is a fit. Confirm the session booking separately. Speed networking

What should you capture after a promising demonstration?

Record who operates the warehouse, the system currently in use, and the problem the prospect wants to change. Agree on a next discussion with the person who can answer integration questions. A badge scan gives you contact details; these notes explain why a follow-up is relevant. Keep demo interest separate from a stated purchase timetable.

Can you skip exhibitor insurance if you bring only laptops?

No. The organizer’s supplier information makes insurance mandatory for exhibitors. A small software display does not remove that requirement. Obtain the current certificate instructions and have your insurance provider check them before setup; do not assume a general business policy meets the show’s terms. Insurance instructions

Why do some listings still say Las Vegas?

Older official exhibitor paperwork refers to Las Vegas, and some third-party directories still use that location. For current planning, follow the organizer’s New York listing. Ask the organizer to resolve any conflicting proposal before you pay. A directory entry is also insufficient evidence to book a 2027 edition. Historical 2025 paperwork · Current US edition

Before you book

Request a booth proposal tied to the New York floorplan and send a short description of the demonstration with it. Proceed when the audience breakdown fits the warehouses you serve and the service quote supports that demonstration. If either remains uncertain, resolve it before spending on a larger display.
