Which event does the name refer to?

For this Minnesota series, trade-show directories still use “Home Improvement & Design Expo.” The organizer, Minnesota Home Shows, uses individual event names such as Shakopee Home Show on its current website. This guide follows that official series and its city events; the directory wording does not identify one shared venue or date. Current official website

These are public home shows where homeowners meet businesses that can improve their homes. Remodeling, kitchens and bathrooms are among the advertised categories. For your residential remodeling company, the useful conversation is about a homeowner’s project and a possible consultation. Do not budget on meeting wholesale buyers or a room of commercial construction specifiers. About Minnesota Home Shows

Free admission makes it easy for people to look around, including visitors whose plans are still early. A friendly conversation is a starting point; it does not establish that someone has a funded project ready to book.

Four different markets in fall 2026

The following dates were checked on September 7, 2026. Each fall event advertises Saturday hours of 10 a.m.–4 p.m., with free admission and parking. Follow the linked city page when planning that particular show.

Andover: September 19 at Andover Community Center

The venue is at 15200 Hanson Blvd NW. The organizer describes a North Metro focus, naming communities including Andover, Anoka and Ham Lake. If your crews already work in that part of the metro, this is the next listed opportunity to meet nearby homeowners. Show completed work you can actually discuss, and explain which neighborhoods you serve. Being nearby will not help if the homeowner cannot wait until your next available appointment. Shakopee: October 3 at Canterbury Park Expo Building

This show is at 1100 Canterbury Rd. Its advertised Southwest Metro reach includes Shakopee, Prior Lake and Savage; the page also names Burnsville and Eden Prairie. Compare that area with the jobs you want to take on. A company seeking more work near Prior Lake has a different reason to choose this stop than a remodeler trying to add jobs near Andover. Maple Grove: October 24 at Maple Grove Community Center

The community center is at 12951 Weaver Lake Rd. The city page highlights the Northwest Metro, including Maple Grove, Osseo and Plymouth. Use that distinction when deciding which project photographs to bring: examples from homes your team has remodeled in this area can make a conversation more specific, if you have permission to show them. Eagan: November 14 at Eagan Community Center

At 1501 Central Pkwy, Eagan is the last listed fall stop. Its page describes a South Metro audience, including Eagan, Apple Valley and Rosemount. For a remodeler working in those communities, the later date may be useful for discussing future projects. Ask homeowners when they want work to start before offering a consultation; the calendar date alone does not tell you whether their project fits your schedule. Eagan show details

Spring 2027 adds more choices

The organizer’s schedule lists the following spring events. These are separate bookings, not the dates of a single traveling exhibitor commitment. The linked schedule currently supplies the spring dates; check for the individual event instructions before arranging transport. Official show schedule

For a first booking, choose the location that overlaps your service area. Add another only when you can also handle consultations in its surrounding communities. Returning to Shakopee or Maple Grove in winter gives you another date in the same market; it does not prove you will meet a fresh audience.

Other pages on the organizer’s website mention Woodbury and Inver Grove Heights. Neither appears in this fall 2026/spring 2027 schedule. A venue mentioned elsewhere on the website is not enough to put an event in your calendar. For White Bear Lake, use the currently listed school rather than carrying forward a venue from an older edition.

The additional spring stops deserve separate checks. Elk River offers a different location from the two Maple Grove dates; compare the drive from the neighborhoods where you want jobs. Stillwater’s venue is physically in Oak Park Heights, so plan around that address rather than the show name alone. Blaine brings you to the National Sports Center, while Victoria uses a recreation center and White Bear Lake a school. A display that worked at Canterbury Park still needs its access route checked at those facilities. These venue differences do not establish which show will deliver better leads.

Booth space for a local remodeling display

The advertised standard booth measures 10 by 8 feet; a double measures 20 by 8 feet. That eight-foot depth matters if your usual display was designed for a ten-foot-deep space. Before ordering a cabinet vignette, draw it beside the place where two people will stand to discuss a project. A sample that fits on paper can still leave no comfortable place to talk. Booth options

For a remodeling business, one useful material comparison and photographs of a real completed project may support a better conversation than a room crowded with samples. This is a display recommendation, not an organizer rule. Bring a full-size feature only when it explains something smaller samples cannot, and check access dimensions with the venue first.

The organizer includes basic booth furnishings and draping. Electricity is available for an additional charge when requested. Confirm the available electrical service before relying on a powered screen or demonstration; the public booking page does not establish that every device or live demonstration is permitted. Allow time to clear the booth that evening. The resource page requires same-day removal after the 4 p.m. close. It also gives conflicting previous-day move-in starts: noon in general instructions and 1 p.m. in several venue entries. Get your city’s arrival window in writing. For Blaine, the schedule and resource page list different street numbers, so request the loading entrance as well. Exhibitor resources
