If you sell DTF printers to garment decorators, Impressions Expo puts your equipment in a relevant setting. The harder choice is which city to commit to. This guide compares the three current stops and explains what to check before you promise buyers a working demonstration.
What kind of show is Impressions Expo?
Impressions Expo is Emerald’s U.S. trade show series for the decorated apparel and imprinted products industry. Its official network currently comprises Dallas, Long Beach and Atlantic City. These are separate events under one brand, with their own dates and exhibitor arrangements. Official series

The audience includes the people running print shops and decorating garments. The product mix spans screen printing and embroidery equipment, as well as blank apparel and digital printing. Hands-on demonstrations are part of the event’s stated purpose. About the series
Long Beach’s current overview explicitly includes DTF and DTG printers among its live equipment demonstrations. Long Beach show overview
For your DTF business, that creates a useful conversation: can the printer fit a decorator’s daily work? DTF means direct-to-film printing, where an image is printed onto film before transfer to a garment. A finished shirt gives a visitor something to inspect; showing how it was produced lets you discuss the equipment behind it. That is our reason for considering this series—not a promise that every visitor is shopping for a printer.
A broad fashion audience alone would be a weaker reason to exhibit. Your pitch needs to make sense to the business producing decorated garments, rather than depend on consumers buying the shirts themselves.
The next dates differ by city
The following are the next expo dates published as of September 7, 2026. They span two calendar years.

| Event | Expo dates | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| Impressions Expo Dallas | October 21–23, 2026 | Hilton Anatole, Dallas, Texas |
| Impressions Expo Long Beach | January 21–23, 2027 | Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California |
| Impressions Expo Atlantic City | March 18–20, 2027 | Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City, New Jersey |
Dallas: the next stop, with a new weekday pattern
Dallas is the next stop. Its current site explicitly announces Wednesday–Friday dates at the Hilton Anatole. The organizer describes its regional audience as concentrated in Texas and neighboring states. If your service team already covers that area, Dallas gives you a geographically sensible place to demonstrate a machine and discuss installation afterward. Dallas event information
The venue deserves attention before you reuse a previous Texas show plan. Old Fort Worth references do not identify this edition’s venue. The current event is in the Hilton Anatole’s Trinity Complex. The organizer also describes a two-day overlap with the Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market. That is useful context for a visitor’s trip, but it does not establish shared admission or guarantee that fashion buyers will visit your equipment booth. Dallas show overview
The expo currently closes at noon on Friday, October 23. Put longer demonstrations into Wednesday or Thursday appointments instead of treating all three days as equally available. Dallas schedule
Long Beach: a western audience and more preparation time
Long Beach is scheduled for January 2027. The organizer describes a strong western audience, including California and neighboring western markets. For a DTF supplier with western distribution or technical support, this is a reason to investigate the show—not evidence of a guaranteed territory full of buyers. Long Beach event information
You have more preparation time than for Dallas. Use it to arrange demonstrations with prospects who can realistically buy and operate your system. A compact printer for a small decorating shop and a larger production system need different conversations, even at the same show.
The published expo schedule runs 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, then 10 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday. A visitor attending a morning class may therefore need a later appointment with your team. Long Beach schedule
Atlantic City: examine your Northeast opportunity
Atlantic City follows in March 2027. Its exhibitor page positions the event around the Northeast decorated apparel market and explicitly includes digital decorating among its product areas. That makes it a relevant candidate if your sales plan is to reach decorating businesses in that region. Atlantic City exhibitor information
The important question is whether you can support the orders you hope to win there. Before adding this stop to a national itinerary, have your distributor identify which Northeast prospects need to see a machine run. If you cannot name those accounts or explain who will help them after delivery, ask for more regional audience information before reserving space.
The current schedule separates workshops on Wednesday, March 17, from the Thursday–Saturday expo. Arrange meetings around that distinction; an early arrival for education does not mean your booth should be open a day early. Atlantic City schedule
What a working demonstration requires at each stop
Dallas already links a 2026 Exhibitor Service Manual. It identifies Encore as the exclusive electrical provider and requires booth activities to stay inside the rented space without obstructing aisle traffic. For your proposed demonstration, send the machine’s electrical details and a drawing showing where visitors will stand before finalizing the layout. Dallas exhibitor manual, pages 18–19

A printer footprint alone does not describe the whole demonstration. If you intend to show powder application and curing, tell operations exactly what equipment will run. Ask what arrangements they require for that setup; a general promise of live demonstrations does not approve your particular process.
The Long Beach and Atlantic City resource centers still label their upcoming service manuals as coming soon. Both publish move-in information, but that does not settle machine-specific services or display approval. Request the correct city’s manual when available and keep the detailed booth design provisional until you have the relevant answers. Long Beach resources, Atlantic City resources
Questions before you commit
Can we photograph another supplier’s demonstration?
Get permission first. Dallas’s FAQ prohibits unauthorized photography or recording on the expo floor and in conference rooms without the exhibitor’s or speaker’s permission. Tell your team before they start filming a competing machine; a show badge does not provide recording permission. Dallas FAQ
Does our installation team need exhibitor badges?
Dallas’s resource center says company personnel need badges during move-in and move-out as well as show days. Include the employees setting up the printer when you prepare registration, rather than registering only the sales staff. If you use an outside contractor, ask operations which contractor credentials are required. Dallas resources
Is this the same series that used to be called ISS?
Yes. The organizer’s brand timeline identifies the Imprinted Sportswear Show as ISS and records the change to the Impressions name in 2020. An old ISS listing can help you trace the event, but use the current city page for booking details. Official brand timeline, page 6
Can last year’s exhibitor list tell us who will be there?
It can show previous participation, but it cannot confirm the next edition’s lineup. Search results still surface a Long Beach 2026 directory. Use the city website’s exhibitor list and floor plan link, then check the edition shown before scheduling competitor research or meetings. 2026 directory, Long Beach directory entry point
Choose the city you can serve after the demonstration
Start with the stop that matches your support coverage. Give the show’s sales team your product description and preferred city, then ask for available space and the current exhibitor terms. Once the demonstration can work in that space, invite the accounts you most need to meet. Official exhibitor contacts
