A kitchen display can look finished on a drawing and still be impossible to install on schedule. At KBIS, cabinets, surfaces, fixtures and working appliances bring different freight, flooring and utility demands. This KBIS 2027 exhibitor guide shows you where the confirmed facts end and where your account documents must take over.
KBIS 2027 at a glance
| Item | Current official information | Why it matters to your exhibit plan |
|---|---|---|
| Event | Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the official trade show owned by the National Kitchen & Bath Association | Use KBIS documents for your exhibit; do not substitute instructions from another show in Design & Construction Week |
| Dates | February 2–4, 2027 | Treat February 2 as the opening date, not as an installation day |
| Venue | Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada | Your assigned hall and booth number will determine the relevant floor plan and targeted freight date |
| Expo hours | 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on all three show days | Staff coverage, demonstrations and any private activity must fit the published hours and your registration rights |
| Current organizer description | More than 600 exhibitors and more than 500,000 net square feet of exhibits | This describes the organizer’s current plan for the upcoming show; it is not a guarantee of traffic or sales at your booth |
| Co-location | KBIS and the NAHB International Builders’ Show form Design & Construction Week | Access to IBS exhibits does not turn IBS exhibitors, sessions or totals into KBIS-only facts |
These details were checked against current KBIS pages on September 7, 2026. Operational documents can still change. Reopen the official source before publication and again before your team releases a drawing, order or shipment.

What the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show covers
KBIS is a professional exhibition for kitchen and bath products, design, technology and related business solutions. The current 2027 exhibitor-list page groups products into categories that include cabinetry, countertops, vanities, appliances, accessories, kitchen and bath technology, hardware, lighting, plumbing fixtures, flooring and floor coverings.
The audience described by KBIS includes designers and design firms, architects, builders, remodelers, kitchen and bath dealers, showroom owners, cabinet shops, fabricators, appliance distributors and plumbing wholesalers. That range is useful only after you narrow it. A decorative hardware brand and a whole-home appliance maker may attend the same show, but they should not build the same demonstration or invite the same accounts.
Before you reserve space, write one sentence that connects a product category to a visitor’s job. For example, a faucet manufacturer might need showroom owners to compare finish consistency and installation details. A cabinet supplier might need designers to understand its construction options and specification process. If the sentence names only your product and not the decision it helps the visitor make, the exhibit purpose is still incomplete.
How to exhibit at KBIS 2027
KBIS currently directs a new exhibitor to its Exhibit/Inquire form. A returning exhibitor should contact the assigned account executive. International companies can also start from the official international exhibitor page, which lists the inquiry route and current regional contacts.

An inquiry is not an exhibit-space agreement. Do not place freight orders or announce a booth number until the organizer has accepted the company, the commercial terms are clear and the assigned space appears in the official system.
After a company becomes an exhibitor, the 2027 Exhibitor Hub becomes a central account. The official Resource Center says exhibitors use it to view invoices, make payments and manage information for the online and printed directories. The current Hub guide also tells exhibitors to complete the company description, keywords, product categories and available product or media listings. Those fields affect whether a designer or dealer can find your company before entering the hall, so they belong to the launch plan rather than a last-day marketing task.
Keep the Expo, VFTI and Design & Construction Week separate
KBIS takes place alongside several related programs. They expand the week, but they are not one interchangeable registration or sales product.
The Expo is the exhibition floor where brands present products. Voices from the Industry (VFTI) is the related education conference. Its 2027 program has six tracks, and the official VFTI page states that designated events are available only to VFTI registrants. NEXTStage and other show-floor features provide programming and networking, while IBS is a separate co-located exhibition within Design & Construction Week.
This distinction changes staffing. A booth badge, a conference place and admission to a special event may carry different rights. Assign the people who must remain at the exhibit first. Then verify registration for anyone expected to attend VFTI or another program. Do not leave a working display unattended because the schedule assumed every badge included every activity.
Build your project from three official layers
There is no single public page that safely answers every exhibitor question. Use three layers and record the date on each file.

- Public KBIS pages confirm the event, venue, exhibit dates, show hours, exhibitor list and general participation routes.
- The Exhibitor Resource Center and 2027 Exhibitor Hub hold account activity, directory details, current links and updates for exhibitors.
- The 2027 Exhibitor Services Kit and booth-specific instructions must control construction, orders, appointed contractors, shipping labels, rates and deadlines when they become available for your space. This is the current official name for the document set that people often search for as the KBIS exhibitor manual.
As of September 7, 2026, the public Resource Center tells exhibitors to check back for KBIS 2027 updates and links to the 2027 Hub and targeted freight plans. The public FAQ says the 2027 Exhibitor Services Kit will be available through that center. A complete public deadline and rate schedule was not verified during this review. Therefore, service prices, discount deadlines, insurance limits, advance-warehouse dates and the full move-out schedule remain pending until the current kit or account documents provide them.
Older manuals can help you identify questions, but they cannot approve a 2027 drawing or budget. Give every operational line in your project sheet one of three labels: confirmed in a current 2027 source, pending current document, or internal assumption.
Let the product display define the service list
Kitchen and bath exhibits often look architectural, yet the products behave like freight and equipment. Start with an itemized display list rather than a mood board.
For every cabinet run, vanity, slab, appliance, sink, faucet, lighting element or technology station, record:
- packed dimensions, weight and number of pieces;
- final installed dimensions and required access around it;
- whether it is static, connected or demonstrated;
- power, water, drainage, internet or ventilation needs;
- wall, floor, overhead or counter support;
- installation sequence and the person responsible for sign-off;
- packing and removal method after the show.
This list reveals dependencies. A working faucet is not just a visual element; it can create water, drainage and protection requirements. A stone surface may determine handling equipment and installation order. A connected appliance may need more than a nearby outlet. Send the specifications to the relevant official provider and the team responsible for the exhibit before the drawing is frozen.
Do not infer approval from an attractive rendering. Approval comes from the current rules, submitted documents where required and confirmed service orders.
Check the KBIS booth rules before approving height and flooring
The current KBIS FAQ gives several useful design signals, but its details must still be checked against the 2027 Services Kit before execution.

It says exhibitors must order or provide flooring within their purchased space. It also says hanging signs are limited to island, split-island and peninsula booths of at least 400 square feet; linear and end-cap spaces do not qualify. A design that depends on a hanging sign should therefore remain conditional until the booth type, size, current hanging-sign rules and any required variance are confirmed.
The same principle applies to walls, sightlines, signs, demonstrations and exposed backs. First identify the contracted booth type. Then read the construction/design section for that type. If the design exceeds a stated condition, use the official variance process rather than assuming that a neighboring exhibit proves permission.
If you appoint an outside installation and dismantle contractor, the public FAQ directs exhibitors to the EAC notification and insurance process. It also states that the contractor must be licensed, insured and authorized to work at the venue, follow show and local requirements, and use the required onsite credentials. The current insurance amount, document wording and submission deadline were not confirmed on a complete public 2027 form, so keep those fields open until the official account materials supply them.
Plan freight by booth number, not by a generic move-in date
The Exhibitor Resource Center states that every exhibitor has a Targeted Freight Move-In Date. It links separate color-coded plans for the North, West and South halls. Your operations file should therefore show the exact hall, booth number and target date together. If the booth changes, the freight plan must be checked again.
Work backward from that target. Decide which pieces go to an advance warehouse, if that option is offered for your shipment, and which must go directly to the site. Give the carrier the current shipping label, destination, check-in instructions, contact details and delivery window from the official documents. The public FAQ currently says delivering carriers check in at the Freeman marshaling yard, but the final route and instructions should come from the 2027 shipping documents issued for your freight.
The current FAQ also presents a clean-floor sequence for the day before opening: empty crates and skids out by 3:00 p.m. on February 1, the exhibit installed by 5:00 p.m., and large ladders or construction equipment removed by 7:00 a.m. on February 2. Those dates match the 2027 calendar and show opening. However, the same FAQ contains an obvious old-year label in part of its move-out table. Treat the clean-floor times as a current public planning signal and verify them in the 2027 kit before the crew schedule is released.
Breakdown may begin only after the Expo closes at 5:00 p.m. on February 4. The remaining move-out windows, carrier deadlines and any freight-handling consequences should stay blank until the current official schedule is in your file.
Use deadlines as release gates
A deadline list is useful only when it controls a decision. Create a tracker with the official due date, source, owner, dependency and proof of completion. Organize it around these release gates:

| Release gate | What must be confirmed before the team proceeds |
|---|---|
| Space accepted | Contract, booth type, dimensions, hall, booth number and payment status |
| Concept released | Product list, installed weights and sizes, visitor decision, accessible circulation and current construction rules |
| Services released | Electrical and other utility loads, rigging if eligible, internet, cleaning, material handling, installation contractor and approved order routes |
| Freight released | Targeted move-in date, current labels, shipment dimensions, carrier instructions, receiving route and responsible onsite contact |
| Opening released | Installation sign-off, product safety, cleaning, staff badges, demonstration script and clean-floor compliance |
| Move-out released | Official dismantle start, empty-container return process, carrier booking, outbound paperwork and final product count |
When a field is missing, mark it pending and name the official place where the answer should appear. Do not replace it with a remembered rule from KBIS 2026 or another Las Vegas show.
Frequently asked questions
Can an international company exhibit at KBIS 2027?
Yes. KBIS has an official international exhibitor page and directs new international exhibitors to the inquiry form. The page also lists regional contacts. An inquiry starts the conversation; it does not itself confirm acceptance, space, price or a booth number. Keep travel and freight commitments conditional until the exhibit agreement and account details are confirmed.
Does a KBIS exhibitor automatically receive every VFTI session or special event?
Do not assume so. VFTI is the education conference associated with KBIS, and the official 2027 VFTI page identifies activities available only to VFTI registrants. Check each team member’s registration products and tickets before scheduling coverage away from the booth.
Can a 2026 exhibitor manual be used to design the 2027 booth?
It can be used only to create a question list. It should not be used as final proof of 2027 heights, rates, deadlines, insurance terms, shipping routes or approved providers. Release the design and orders against the current 2027 Services Kit, Hub documents and written approvals that apply to your booth.
Where should an exhibitor verify official vendors and avoid list or housing scams?
Start from the KBIS Exhibitor Resource Center and the current Exhibitor Services Kit, not an unsolicited email. KBIS warns that outside companies offering attendee lists or claiming to represent the show may be unauthorized. Confirm the vendor through the official site or your KBIS account representative before sharing data or paying an invoice.
Turn the official file set into one working plan
The most useful KBIS plan is not the longest checklist. It is a controlled file that connects the contracted space to the products, services, freight and people needed to open it. Collect the exhibit agreement, hall and booth number, product schedule, utility needs, targeted freight date and current 2027 instructions in one place. Mark every unresolved price, deadline or rule as pending. That gives your team a plan it can update without mistaking an old document for permission.
