Your next landscape project may start with a homeowner who has pictures of a yard and no clear plan. The San Antonio Home + Garden Show offers a place to have that conversation. Here is how its two editions fit a local landscape design-and-build business.
Two San Antonio editions, with different dates
Marketplace Events produces the San Antonio Home + Garden Show. Its spring and fall websites both use that name, so the edition matters when you request space. This guide covers those two San Antonio events, not the organizer’s shows in other cities. Organizer introduction

As checked on September 7, 2026, the official homepages announce these next dates:
| Edition | Next dates shown | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| Spring | February 26–28, 2027 | Alamodome, San Antonio |
| Fall | October 1–3, 2027 | Alamodome, San Antonio |

The venue address is 100 Montana Street, San Antonio, TX 78203. The spring information page still lists February 27–March 1, 2026 in its detailed schedule. The fall information page retains July 31–August 2, 2026. Those are past editions, not alternative dates for 2027. Spring show information · Fall show information
That unusual July–August date is not a reason to substitute a different event. The Greater San Antonio Builders Association also identifies it as the 2026 Fall Home + Garden Show. For a new booking, put the edition and year on the quote request; a search for the San Antonio Fall Home + Garden Show can still lead to the earlier summer dates. Association event page
The useful conversation is about a homeowner’s own yard
The organizer describes a public marketplace for home projects, with displays and advice alongside shopping. You should expect household decisions, including people still gathering ideas. It is a consumer home show; a booth purchase does not give you a prequalified list of commercial landscape contracts. About the show

The spring exhibitor directory includes Outdoor, Garden & Landscape, alongside Pools, Spas & Saunas and Construction & Renovation. That mix is relevant if your company turns an existing yard into a usable outdoor space: a visitor considering a pool may also need a new surrounding landscape. The directory establishes category fit, not the number of visitors seeking your service. Exhibitor categories
For your business, the strongest reason to exhibit is the chance to discuss the actual property before scheduling a visit. Ask where it is and what the homeowner wants to change. A promising conversation can still be unsuitable if the address is outside your service area or the requested work is something your crews do not undertake. Make those limits visible in your display.
Garden attractions support interest, but do not prove demand
The spring features page currently describes Fiesta Flora Gardens and Roots For The Future, including native-plant and water-wise gardening education. These are useful clues to the show’s garden focus. The page does not establish a complete, edition-specific 2027 program, so do not promise customers that those attractions will return. Spring show features

The fall features page lists 210 Botanical Bonanza and 210 Casita Central, bringing garden education and backyard buildings into the same event. That gives you a different starting point for a landscape conversation: how a new structure would fit into the rest of a yard. These published features are not a confirmed 2027 lineup either. Fall show features
A small planted scene could help visitors picture a finished yard, while a drawing can explain what lies outside that scene. Put a photograph of one of your own completed projects beside the plan and explain what changed. Use real work you have permission to show; an attractive concept should be labeled as a concept.
The two dates also give you different scheduling questions. Before choosing February, decide when your team could start the work discussed at the show. For October, decide how far ahead you are willing to book consultations and construction. Neither date proves that one edition produces better landscape leads. Choose the edition that fits your actual availability, then ask the show team for recent results from that specific edition.
Booth costs and display rules at the Alamodome
At the time of checking, the spring rate page displays $2,239 for a 10 × 10-foot booth; the fall page displays $2,199. Both list a required $149 exhibitor listing fee and a $100 package for new exhibitors. Treat these as posted figures to discuss with the organizer, not a confirmed 2027 offer: the pages are not fully synchronized with the new dates. Spring booth rates · Fall booth rates

For a landscape display, the footprint is only part of the decision. Both public exhibitor kits are still labeled 2026. They require booth flooring and direct forklift work through GEMS. Use that information to identify likely tasks, then obtain the instructions for your booked edition before ordering services. Spring exhibitor kit · Fall exhibitor kit
The spring 2026 manual requires protective sheeting beneath materials such as bricks or mulch, and keeps demonstrations inside the rented booth. It also restricts tall displays and prohibits tents or canopies. If your idea includes a roofed outdoor structure, send the drawing to show management before commissioning it. A garden-themed show is not blanket permission to build any garden structure indoors. Spring 2026 manual
The same manual contains old payment and shipping years. Do not lift its delivery dates into your booking. Ask for the current move-in instructions and written approval of the proposed display, including how materials will enter and leave the Alamodome.
Questions before you reserve space
Can I buy an official attendee email list?
No. Marketplace Events says it does not sell attendee email lists. Build your follow-up list from homeowners who choose to share their details with you, and explain what you will send them. Exhibitor information
Does a builders association membership reduce the booth price?
The Greater San Antonio Builders Association’s 2026 event page advertises a $150 booth-space discount for members. Ask the show team whether a member offer applies to your chosen 2027 edition before deducting it from the quote. The old offer alone does not establish eligibility for a new booking. Association event page
Will I be the only landscape company exhibiting?
The public category directory does not promise category exclusivity or a cap on nearby competitors. Ask the sales team about the current floor plan and any restriction that would be written into your agreement. Do not price your participation on an assumed protected territory. Exhibitor directory
Is this the San Antonio Big Bloom Home & Garden Show?
No. Show Technology lists Big Bloom separately at Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall, with its next show announced for April 2–4, 2027. Do not use its booking form for the Marketplace Events shows at the Alamodome. Big Bloom official event page
Make the booking specific
Send the show team your chosen edition, service area and a drawing of the display. Ask for an itemized quote and the corresponding exhibitor instructions. Reserve when you can both install that display under the agreed rules and offer realistic appointments to the homeowners it attracts.
