New York City Jewelry & Watch Show 2026: Exhibitor Guide

When you sell estate jewelry, a visitor needs time to examine the actual piece. The New York City Jewelry & Watch Show brings public shoppers and trade buyers into the same event. Here is how to judge whether that setting suits your collection before applying.

The 2026 show in Chelsea

Palm Beach Show Group schedules the show for October 22–25, 2026, at Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011. Public hours are 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Sunday. These are visiting hours, not exhibitor setup times. Official show information

The organizer presents it as a place to buy jewelry and watches, with antique and estate jewelry, vintage timepieces and contemporary collections. That gives your collection a relevant setting without making the event exclusively an antiques fair. Show overview

For your business, the distinction matters: you would be explaining individual pieces to people who may want to own them. A display designed only to open wholesale accounts would miss part of the audience. Treat possible dealer business as an additional opportunity, rather than assuming every conversation will lead to a stock order.

Does your collection belong on this floor?

Look first at what you can put in the case. An estate ring with a clear explanation of its condition gives you something concrete to discuss. A catalog of pieces you cannot show creates a different buying experience. For a first appearance, favor a selection your team can explain confidently, including any repairs or alterations you know about.

The application draws one particularly clear boundary: lab-grown diamonds are excluded. It also asks about merchandise and previous shows, and provides fields for three references and past-show images. Exhibitor application

If your business sells both natural and lab-grown diamonds, do not assume a natural-only selection resolves eligibility. Describe both sides of the business and ask the organizer to confirm whether your proposed collection is acceptable. That conversation should come before you order a display.

There is a reason to consider the event if selling directly to collectors is part of your business. There is less reason to commit if your plan depends entirely on finding wholesale accounts. The published audience description supports a mixed sales setting; it does not establish how many qualified buyers will visit your case.

What the current application and floorplan can tell you

Use the application to introduce your collection accurately. Then request the 2026 participation terms and a written offer for the space under discussion. Submitting a form is not proof that a booth has been allocated.

The official floorplan page links to a PDF headed October 22–25, 2026, at Metropolitan Pavilion. It is useful for starting a placement discussion, but it does not establish which spaces remain available. 2026 floorplan

Ask what the offered space includes and how approved showcases can be arranged. Before commissioning anything, get the permitted display dimensions and electrical ordering instructions. Request the current insurance terms too; a venue security measure does not tell you whether your stock is covered. You also need the exhibitor access schedule and the arrangements for merchandise outside public hours. The public pages reviewed do not settle those details.

Give visitors a reason to spend time with a piece

The announced 2026 program includes an October 23 highlights tour at noon, led by NYC Jewelry Week founder Bella Neyman. Its focus is selected pieces and exhibitors. That is a scheduled program, not a promise that your stand will be included. 2026 show programming

For an estate jewelry collection, the useful lesson is to make the object easy to discuss. Give a visitor enough room to examine a ring with a staff member, while another person can still see the rest of the case. Try the lighting with the actual pieces before approving the display; glare on the glass can defeat an otherwise attractive arrangement.

Keep the information for each piece within reach. Your staff should be able to explain what is known about it and distinguish documentation from an attribution that remains uncertain. Those are display and sales recommendations, not the show's published authentication rules.

FAQ

Can I assess the show as a trade visitor before exhibiting?

The public policy describes a trade badge and restricts visiting merchandise carriers to registered holders. Older-year badge information remains on the website, so confirm 2026 registration with the organizer before bringing stock. A visitor badge does not establish permission to operate a stand. Trade badge policy

Can visitors photograph the jewelry in my case?

The policy requires your permission first. Decide what your staff may authorize before opening, so a visitor gets the same answer from everyone. Photography policy

What does a booth cost?

The public application reviewed does not publish a booth rate. Request a quote tied to an identified space and ask which display services it includes. An admission ticket price is not a substitute for that quote.

Is this the same event as NYC Jewelry Week?

No. NYC Jewelry Week lists its citywide and online event for November 16–22, 2026. Its participation in the October show program does not combine the two calendars or their registration arrangements. Use the separate event details when planning your visit. NYC Jewelry Week

Before you apply

Choose the pieces you would actually bring, then send that selection to the organizer for an eligibility discussion. If the collection is accepted, use the offered space and current exhibitor terms to decide whether you can present and staff it properly. That is the point to commission the display.
