Your scheduling software may solve a nursing center’s staffing problem, but will the people who can buy it attend this convention? The AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, branded Delivering Solutions 26, brings long-term care leaders to Boston. Here is how to judge the audience and plan a demonstration around the actual expo schedule.
What the AHCA/NCAL convention brings together
Delivering Solutions 26, or DS26, is the 2026 AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo. AHCA/NCAL brings together the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living. Its provider membership includes skilled nursing centers and assisted living communities. The convention combines education with an exhibition; it is a professional gathering for the care sector, rather than a consumer fair for families choosing care. About AHCA/NCAL and DS26 overview.

For your software business, that distinction makes the event worth investigating. You are seeking conversations about running care organizations. However, an audience interested in workforce problems is not automatically an audience ready to replace its scheduling system. Use the show to identify providers with a specific problem you can address, rather than treating every visitor as an active opportunity.
Boston dates and the two expo days
The convention is scheduled for October 11–14, 2026, at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts. The official exhibitor service center confirms the venue and dates. 2026 exhibitor service center.

You may still see Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, or BCEC, in event materials. That is the former name of the same venue, not another Boston location. MCCA renaming announcement.
The expo is scheduled for Monday, October 12, and Tuesday, October 13. The two official sources below disagree on Tuesday’s hours:
| Expo day | Exhibit prospectus, page 5 | Event FAQ, approximate hours |
|---|---|---|
| Monday, October 12 | 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. | 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. |
| Tuesday, October 13 | 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. | 11:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. |
Times are local to Boston. Ask the exhibitor team to confirm Tuesday’s schedule before booking timed demonstrations or staff departures. The four-day convention dates do not mean four days of booth traffic. DS26 exhibit prospectus and current event FAQ.
Having only two expo days favors a demo visitors can join without waiting for a scheduled presentation. Show one scheduling task from start to finish, then offer a separate discussion for the provider’s own staffing arrangements. A long product tour could consume the time you need to learn whether there is a fit.
Why workforce software belongs in the conversation
The current DS26 exhibitor list, organized by category, includes a category for AI in staffing, workforce, and employee engagement. SchedulePop and Incite Workforce Solutions powered by SnapCare appear in it. The hall also covers equipment and care services, so DS26 is not a software-only exhibition. These listings establish that workforce technology is represented; they do not endorse a company’s claims or prove demand for your product. DS26 exhibitor categories.

The long-term care workforce program gives a second reason to examine the show. AHCA/NCAL’s July announcement discusses recruiting and retaining caregivers, with sessions addressing paperwork and workforce reporting. For a scheduling supplier, the useful connection is the work an administrator wants to make easier. Explain how a shift change is handled in your system before discussing the technology behind it. DS26 workforce sessions.
Your booth conversation also needs to uncover who would evaluate the product after the show. A facility administrator may know the daily difficulty while a corporate team controls software selection. Ask whether the visitor chooses systems for one building or across an organization. That answer should shape the follow-up demonstration; a badge scan alone cannot tell you who can approve a purchase.
If your product has only been used in unrelated workplaces, do not assume a general staff calendar is enough. Before booking, establish which care-provider workflows you can actually show and support. DS26 is a stronger candidate when your demonstration already makes sense to a nursing-center operator.
What to settle before ordering the booth
The prospectus requires floor covering in every booth. Its published audience profile includes administrators and clinical leaders alongside corporate executives. Give people somewhere to stop and discuss the screen, with the demonstration visible without crowding the aisle. The layout suggestion is ours; it is not a prescribed DS26 booth design. The public exhibitor service center directs booked exhibitors to a dashboard and task list. Obtain the current service information there before approving fabrication or equipment orders. Confirm the rules for your booth type and screen placement, along with power and internet ordering. Public information reviewed for this guide does not establish the applicable height limit, labor arrangements, or service deadlines. Exhibitor service center.
For a software demonstration, a screen that works is more useful than an elaborate display that depends on unconfirmed connectivity. Prepare an offline demonstration using fictional records, and establish what a live connection would add before ordering it. This is a practical recommendation, not a claim that DS26 supplies internet with booth space.
Questions before you commit
Does an exhibitor badge include NCAL Day?
Do not assume it does. The 2026 NCAL Day page identifies the program as a separately charged add-on to convention registration. Confirm your staff’s access before including it in the trip plan. Its assisted-living focus may be useful if your scheduling product serves those communities, but that does not make it part of the booth purchase. NCAL Day registration information.
Can a September booking use the original deposit timetable?
The public reservation page still shows a 50% deposit and an April 1, 2026 balance deadline, with no refunds after that date. Since this guide was checked in September, ask the organizer what is payable now and obtain the current booking terms. Do not build your budget around a payment deadline that has already passed. Booth reservation conditions.
Is the AHCA/NCAL Quality Summit the same event?
No. The organizer’s 2026 call for presentations lists the Boston convention and the Quality Summit as separate meetings. A shared association name does not make their registration or exhibitor arrangements interchangeable. When requesting a quote or service information, specify Delivering Solutions 26 in Boston. AHCA/NCAL’s 2026 meeting announcement.
Decide what a useful DS26 meeting would look like
Before reserving space, write down the provider problem your demo will answer and the person you need in the next conversation. If your team can demonstrate that workflow and explain implementation clearly, take the proposed screen layout to the show’s exhibitor team for the applicable rules. If it cannot, improve the demonstration before spending on a larger booth.
