World of Concrete Exhibitor Guide: Dates, Booth Rules, and Planning Steps

At World of Concrete 2027, a concrete pump may need an outdoor operating area while plant software belongs inside a targeted hall. If you are planning to exhibit, the first decision is not what the booth should look like. It is where your product belongs and what the demonstration needs the venue to support.

This guide separates confirmed 2027 facts from details that still depend on your exhibitor portal and service manual. It will help you judge fit, choose a participation route, and avoid freezing the display or freight plan before the controlling documents arrive.

The confirmed 2027 show facts

World of Concrete is the organizer's annual international trade show for the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries. The event combines indoor and outdoor exhibits, demonstrations and competitions with a separate education program.

Attendees discuss construction safety products at a World of Concrete exhibit.

The distinction between exhibits and education matters. Monday, January 18 is an education day before the exhibit floor opens. A team member attending a course needs the relevant education registration and schedule; an exhibitor badge and a booth staffing plan do not automatically solve that need.

Decide whether the show floor matches your product and buyer

The show is tightly centered on concrete, masonry and commercial construction. Official floor areas cover production equipment, material handling, work trucks, construction technology, precast, concrete masonry, reinforcement, cement production, repair and demolition, surfaces, decorative concrete, and outdoor equipment demonstrations.

That scope is broad inside the industry, but it is not a general building-products audience. Your fit is stronger when a contractor, producer, fleet operator, plant team or other concrete/masonry professional can evaluate a jobsite or production decision at the stand. A generic corporate presentation is weaker than evidence tied to throughput, application, safety, finish, maintenance, operating steps or a live result.

WOC says its post-show surveys consistently find that more than 75% of attendees play a role in their companies' purchasing process. Treat that as organizer survey language, not a forecast of your leads. The useful planning question is narrower: which visitor role has the authority and operating problem that your demonstration can address?

Write that role and problem before choosing floor space. For example, a concrete producer comparing plant equipment needs a different conversation from a contractor testing a handheld tool. If the intended buyer cannot be located within the official show-floor categories, confirm the audience with WOC sales before committing.

Match the product to the hall before choosing the display

The official 2027 hall description gives each area a practical product logic:

Equipment exhibit on the PACK EXPO 2025 show floor
  • Central Hall includes material handling, general concrete/construction products and Work Truck LIVE. It is the natural place to investigate when the product concerns delivery, placement, earthmoving, paving or work vehicles.
  • North Hall includes the Producer Center, construction technology and robotics, precast, concrete masonry, reinforcement, cement production and general exhibits. Plant systems, production technology and products serving these processes should be compared with the relevant targeted area.
  • South Hall covers repair and demolition, concrete surfaces and decorative products, and World of Masonry. Surface preparation, sawing, grinding, coatings, sealants and masonry-focused products should start here.
  • Silver and Bronze lots support outdoor exhibits and events, including heavy equipment and live demonstrations.

These labels do not guarantee that a booth is available or that show management will approve a planned activity. They help you ask for the right location. Send WOC sales a clear product description, operating footprint, demonstration method, expected audience and any material or utility needs. Then compare the available floor plan with traffic generated by the specific targeted area, not with an abstract preference for a corner or entrance.

An outdoor space can make sense when the product must move, run, cut, place or work with bulk material. It also introduces decisions that an indoor graphic stand may never face. The official exhibit page publishes separate rates for sandbox, slab-on-grade and wall materials and directs these orders to WOC operations. A product that needs those conditions should have the demonstration method reviewed before the team treats the floor material as a decoration choice.

Use the correct route to secure exhibit space

WOC directs interested companies to the 2027 exhibit-space contract or its account-executive team. The 2027 space-draw document says the initial priority process was available to 2026 exhibitors. Companies that did not exhibit in 2026 are assigned after space draw on a first-come, first-served basis when WOC receives a signed contract and the required payment.

As checked on September 7, 2026, the official exhibit page lists these space rates for contracts after April 17, 2026:

SpaceUnder 1,000 sq ft1,000 sq ft or more
Indoor$55.00/sq ft$54.50/sq ft
Outdoor$50.00/sq ft$49.50/sq ft

The same page states that the 50% deposit was due April 17, 2026, the balance was due August 18, 2026, and contracts submitted after August 18 require full payment at submission. Those dates have passed as of this guide's research date. Ask the assigned account executive to confirm current availability, invoice status and applicable contract terms rather than relying on a saved rate table.

Before signing, distinguish four commitments: the space requested, the space assigned, the targeted show-floor area, and the activity approved. A contract request does not by itself guarantee a particular hall, position or configuration, and a booth assignment does not automatically approve every demonstration.

Read the 2027 booth specifications before design development

WOC has published a 2027 booth-specification document. It is detailed enough to prevent several expensive layout errors.

A standard linear booth is typically 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep. In the rear five feet, display material, signs, equipment and product may reach 12 feet. In the front five feet, the limit is four feet. Linear booths cannot use ceiling-hung signs or truss. A perimeter linear booth can reach 16 feet in its rear zone, but ceiling-hung signs and truss are still not allowed.

An island booth is defined as at least 20 by 20 feet with aisles on all four sides. Its display material and signage may reach 26 feet when the hall ceiling permits. The specifications also say a hanging sign must remain inside the booth perimeter and be at least nine feet above the floor. Freeman must install and dismantle signs hung from the ceiling, and Freeman approval is required for signs over 250 pounds when they are hung from equipment by the exhibitor or its appointed contractor.

Do not turn those limits into a universal design. Your assigned aisle, hall ceiling, booth type, neighboring spaces and current manual still control the final plan. The key action is to mark the exhibit configuration on the floor plan before anyone draws walls, product towers or overhead identification.

Keep equipment demonstrations and spectators inside the space

WOC's 2027 specifications require demonstrations, presentations and their viewers to stay inside the booth. Aisles must remain clear, and a demonstration cannot be staged at an aisle edge where the audience would collect outside the purchased space.

This changes how much of the booth is actually available for the machine. Draw the operating envelope, operator position, visitor viewing zone, queue, barriers and exit path as separate areas. A machine may fit physically while the safe demonstration does not. If the audience can only watch from the aisle, the space or demonstration plan is not ready.

Utilities should be treated the same way. The public specifications say electricity, gas, compressed air, water and telephone service are available at the LVCC, with hall-specific delivery conditions. Availability does not mean the connection, capacity or installation method is approved for your equipment. Put voltage, load, air pressure, water, drainage, ventilation, fuel, data and connection locations into a written utility schedule and submit the relevant questions through the current official service channel.

Covered, canopied or multistory exhibits need another review path. The 2027 specifications call for structural plans, insurance and show-management/LVCC approval, with written requests at least two months before move-in. Since the public source does not state the controlling 2027 move-in date, obtain the actual submission date from the exhibitor manual or operations team instead of calculating a deadline from an old schedule.

Build your plan from the contract, portal, and service manual

No public article can replace the exhibitor's document set. Use three layers:

Branded island exhibit at Global Pet Expo 2024
  1. The accepted contract and booth assignment establish the purchased package, assigned space and payment obligations.
  2. The public 2027 booth specifications and floor plan establish the early design envelope and targeted show-floor context.
  3. The 2027 Exhibitor Portal and Exhibitor Service Manual supply current order forms, service deadlines, freight instructions, target move-in, contractor paperwork and operational updates.

WOC's resource center tells exhibitors to use the portal for their listing, payments and invoices. Its first-time exhibitor page says the service manual contains all order instructions, deadlines and other show information. Contract terms also allow the organizer or venue to require appointed contractors for certain services, such as utilities or stand-plan inspection.

As of September 7, 2026, a complete public 2027 service manual with final freight dates, move-in/move-out schedules, Exhibitor Appointed Contractor paperwork deadlines and all service-order deadlines was not confirmed in the reviewed official sources. Keep those fields marked pending current manual. Do not fill them with 2026 dates or a contractor's generic Las Vegas schedule.

Lock the demonstration before the freight plan

For this show, freight is downstream of the product demonstration. A productive sequence is:

  1. Confirm the product belongs at WOC and name the exact visitor role.
  2. Ask WOC sales which targeted area and available space fit the product.
  3. Record the booth type, dimensions, hall, aisle and assigned location.
  4. Define what will operate, move, cut, pour, cure, coat or be tested.
  5. Mark spectators, barriers, utilities, materials, sound, dust, waste and cleaning needs.
  6. Check the concept against the 2027 booth specifications and submit any required plans.
  7. Retrieve current freight, labor, utility, rigging and move-in instructions from the exhibitor portal.
  8. Only then issue the shipping list, service orders and onsite schedule.

This order prevents a common planning failure: shipping a product that fits the crate and the booth dimensions but cannot be operated under the approved conditions. It also makes the service manual easier to use, because the team knows which forms and contractor questions apply.

Keep show-floor operations separate from education

Education runs January 18–21, while exhibits run January 19–21. The education program covers technical applications, business practices, project management and safety topics for different levels of industry responsibility. It is a separate learning program, not extra exhibit-floor time.

Decide who must staff the stand and who would benefit from a course. Then check the current registration package and session schedule for each person. If one specialist is essential to a live demonstration, do not book that person into education without a coverage plan.

Frequently asked questions

Where can exhibitors find the current WOC service manual?

WOC directs confirmed exhibitors to the 2027 Exhibitor Portal. The resource center uses the portal for account and listing tasks, while the first-time exhibitor page says the Exhibitor Service Manual contains order instructions, deadlines and other show information. If the manual or a required form is missing from your account, contact your WOC account executive or exhibit@worldofconcrete.com rather than using a prior-year copy.

Can an exhibitor buy or obtain the WOC attendee list?

WOC's exhibitor FAQ says it does not provide or sell the attendee list. The exhibit page separately warns that offers to sell WOC 2026/27 attendee lists are scams. Verify directory, housing, sponsorship and vendor messages against the official WOC site or the current service manual before signing or paying.

Where is the World of Concrete 2027 exhibitor list?

The official WOC site links to a live 2027 exhibitor list and floor plans hosted in its Map Your Show system. Use the list to identify direct competitors, complementary product categories and nearby targeted areas before deciding what your stand must explain. Because companies and assignments can change, record the date you accessed the list instead of treating a downloaded snapshot as final.

Does reserving booth space approve a live equipment demonstration?

No. Space assignment and activity approval are different decisions. Send operations the equipment footprint, operating method, audience arrangement, utilities, sound, dust, materials, waste and safety controls. Keep the demonstration provisional until the responsible official channel confirms the requirements.

When should an exhibitor finalize freight and move-in times?

Finalize them after the current 2027 service manual and any target move-in notice are available for the assigned booth. The public 2027 pages reviewed for this guide did not confirm a complete freight and move-in schedule. A planning placeholder is useful internally, but it should not be issued to carriers or crews as an official time.

Final check before the plan is frozen

A workable WOC plan connects one buyer problem, one targeted show-floor area, one approved product demonstration and one current operational document set. If any of those links is missing, keep the booth, services and freight plan editable.

Before approval, reopen the official floor plan, 2027 booth specifications, accepted contract, portal and service manual. Record the revision date beside every deadline. That final source check is more valuable than adding another unverified feature to the stand.
