Follow Acquisition Through to Analysis
Presenting connected hardware beside its analysis screen helps visitors see where each product belongs in the research workflow.
Examine the Small Connections
A close viewing position makes probes, connectors and controls easier to discuss than a distant display behind a reception desk.
Discuss Compatibility with the Lab
A tabletop beside the equipment gives your specialist room to compare a visitor's existing setup with the system on display.

Proposed Display Components for Your SfN Exhibit

• Instrument plinths give compact research equipment its own display surface.
• Recessed monitor positions keep screens within the exhibit structure.
• Keyboard shelves place software controls beside the demonstration screen.
• Enclosed cabinets keep spare accessories beneath the display counter.
• Printed application panels identify the research workflow beside each instrument.

Put the Research Workflow on Display at SfN

Neuroscience 2026 brings the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting to Washington, D.C., from November 14–18. For a company presenting research tools, the booth can connect what a visitor sees in the hardware with what appears in the software. An acquisition system may need its components shown together; an analysis platform may be better explained using a prepared dataset and a guided screen presentation.

Choose How Researchers Approach the Demonstration

Compare these counter layouts within your assigned SfN footprint. Each describes the relationship between the presenter, equipment and visitors; dimensions are developed for the selected instruments and permitted booth arrangement.

Straight Demonstration Counter

Place a connected instrument sequence along one counter, with the scientist working behind it. Visitors can compare the components from the front, but the screen needs a position that remains visible across that line.

Angled Demonstration Counter

Put the hardware on one return and its software controls on the other. The turn separates the two working surfaces while keeping the explanation close; check that the inside corner leaves the operator adequate room.

Central Demonstration Table

Bring a compact setup away from the rear wall so researchers can observe from several positions. This needs circulation around the table and an agreed route for connections; it may leave less room for enclosed storage.

SfN offers separate Product Theater opportunities for presentations and demonstrations. When a theater session is part of your program, give the booth a different job: let researchers inspect the hardware or explore the software details that a seated presentation cannot cover. A nearby discussion position can support questions about a particular experiment. We can reflect that follow-up activity in the exhibit layout, while you arrange the theater booking directly with SfN.

RENTAL & CUSTOM EXHIBITS

King Exhibits Connects Your Layout with Custom Fabrication

Neuroscience booth rental – exhibit design review with the project manager
Neuroscience booth rental – pre-show build check before the booth ships

Our custom booth rental service brings 3D design and fabrication into the same project. That lets us develop an angled counter or central display as part of the exhibit, with the surrounding graphic surfaces included in the design. You review the counter and surrounding walls together before committing to a particular arrangement.

Prepare the Exhibit and Research Equipment for Handover

King reviews key assembly, graphic and finish details before venue delivery. Identify the panels that contain scientific diagrams during artwork approval, so the booth check uses the correct files. Your scientific team remains responsible for the accuracy of the data and product claims; an exhibit inspection does not validate the experiment.

Give the Instrument Its Own Transport Instructions

Our logistics service covers staging and coordination of exhibit delivery. Research equipment may have different handling requirements from the booth components. Tell us which items arrive with your team or a specialist carrier, and provide the manufacturer’s packing instructions for any proposed instrument shipment. Agree who receives each shipment before arranging transport.

Separate Equipment Removal from Booth Dismantling

The exhibition runs November 15–18 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Arrange for your specialist to disconnect and secure research hardware before its supporting counter is dismantled. King coordinates the agreed exhibit removal, while the equipment owner supplies its packing and collection instructions. Use the current show timetable to confirm when that work may begin.

OUR PROCESS

Turn Your SfN Demonstration into a Rental Proposal

Describe What Researchers Will See

Send the SfN space assignment and an outline of the demonstration, including equipment dimensions. King uses those details to suggest where the research setup could sit, with a preliminary arrangement and any equipment questions your specialist needs to resolve.

Review the Equipment Arrangement and Price

Supply the missing operating clearances, brand artwork and budget priorities. We develop the 3D concept and proposed service scope, giving you an exhibit design and quotation to review together before approval.

Approve the Exhibit for Production

Return the agreed design, approved graphics and current show instructions. Our team prepares the exhibit and coordinates the contracted installation, then hands over the booth for your equipment setup. The agreed closeout arrangements cover dismantling and the destination of retained materials.

Does the SfN space fee cover a furnished exhibit?

No. SfN’s 2026 space fee excludes furnishings, floor covering and demonstration services such as electricity and Wi-Fi. Flooring is required throughout the booth. Compare the exhibit proposal with the show-service orders so you can see which purchases complete your display and which charges are billed through the event.

Can a sensitive research instrument operate in the booth?

Only if its operating requirements can be met at the venue. Ask your equipment specialist to identify power, environmental and setup requirements before choosing a live demonstration. A booth proposal cannot establish laboratory conditions. A recorded experiment or a non-operating display may be more suitable when reliable operation cannot be confirmed.

Can King arrange a better SfN booth location?

Booth assignment belongs to SfN, which uses a priority-points system. King can develop an exhibit for the space you receive, but we do not promise access to a preferred position. Refer relocation requests to SfN and send us the revised assignment before approving an affected design.

Should we show live research data on the demonstration screen?

Select a dataset that your organization has cleared for presentation to visitors. A prepared dataset can explain the analysis without exposing an active research session or an unreleased result. Your scientific team controls that content; tell us the screen format and whether visitors will operate the interface so the display supports the approved demonstration.

When is it too late to request a Neuroscience exhibit?

Feasibility depends on the build, artwork readiness and remaining production and delivery time. Send your requirements as soon as the project is active. We review the available schedule before accepting a delivery commitment; booking exhibit space or meeting a show-service deadline does not by itself reserve booth production capacity.

Can we replace the featured instrument after approving the design?

A replacement needs a layout review if its dimensions, weight or operating access differ. Send the revised equipment information before shipping it. We will check the effect on the proposed display and identify any design or cost changes; an existing counter should not be treated as suitable without that review.
