What a Truss Display Can Combine

  • Straight and curved truss sections shape the display.
  • Junctions connect sections into the selected layout.
  • Fitted graphic panels carry the brand message.
  • Compatible shelves create space for product samples.
  • System-specific brackets provide mounting points for screens.
  • Matching cases organize components for transport.

Give Each Product a Place in the Display

A truss trade show display can bring a branded backdrop, sample shelves and digital presentations into one coordinated arrangement. The useful choice is the configuration: a product range may need several display surfaces, while a software demonstration may need a screen and a table for the presenter. Choose the frame around that work, with room for visitors to approach.

For your booth design, we start with the products and demonstrations you want to present. Our 3D design work helps you review their positions alongside the graphics and visitor space. Your team can discuss the complete layout before artwork is finalized, with the shelves, screens and brand image considered together.

Shelves for Samples Visitors Can Compare

An integrated shelf arrangement can place related samples beside the message that explains them. It works best when visitors can see the differences and your team can lift a sample out for discussion. Shelf depth, spacing and the supported weight matter more than the number of shelves in a photograph. Larger or heavier products may need a separate counter or floor position, leaving the truss to carry the surrounding graphics.

A Screen Position That Suits the Demonstration

A screen mounted within the display can keep a video or software demonstration close to the product story. A compatible tabletop can give the presenter a working surface below it. The bracket must suit both the screen and the truss system; a mount listed in a kit does not necessarily include the monitor. Plan the viewing position, presenter space and cable route together so the demonstration remains accessible when visitors gather.

Booth Design and Graphics Working Together

Our team provides booth design, 3D visualization and graphics production for U.S. exhibits. Working through those elements together helps you see whether a headline is still readable beside a screen, or whether a product blocks its own supporting message.

King Exhibits also provides fabrication, transportation, installation and dismantling for booth projects. We define the work included in each proposal, so your team can distinguish the design and graphics from equipment, structural supply and on-site services before committing.

Choosing Trade Show Truss Displays

Are truss displays made from steel or aluminum?

Both are used in exhibit systems. The material name alone does not tell you which shelves, screen mounts or layout changes a system supports. Compare the actual frame, connections and accessories as a complete assembly. For any attached equipment, the relevant limits belong to the selected components and arrangement, not to every display made from the same metal.

Can a truss display work in a small inline booth?

Yes. Compact inline kits are available in the market, so truss is not limited to large island exhibits. The practical question is how much usable space remains once the frame, counters and demonstrations are in place. A backwall-focused arrangement can suit a small footprint, while a deeper configuration may crowd the area where your team needs to meet visitors.

Does a tool-free truss kit mean our team can install everything themselves?

No. A simplified frame connection does not describe the whole installation. Graphics, screen brackets, lights and accessories each have their own fitting requirements, and some systems include a dedicated tightening tool. Team size, component handling and the finished configuration also affect the job. Evaluate the complete setup instructions before choosing between staff assembly and a separately arranged installation service.

Can the graphics change without replacing the truss frame?

Yes, where the system uses replaceable graphic panels. The new print needs to match the panel shape and attachment method; fabric and rollable PVC panels do not necessarily attach in the same way. A new campaign may reuse the frame, but a change in layout can also change the required graphic shapes. Keep the hardware details with your artwork records.

Can I use the same truss kit in a different booth size?

Some modular truss systems allow this, but the new layout has to work with the available sections, junctions and bases. It may need additional parts or different graphics. Reconfiguration should be checked against the manufacturer’s supported arrangements, especially when shelves or screens move with it. A kit being modular does not mean every smaller or larger floor plan can use it unchanged.

What Will Visitors Do at Your Booth?

Send your show and dates, booth footprint, product list and any screen or demonstration requirements. Include a sketch or reference if you have one. We will review the brief with you and outline the next steps for booth design, including the product positions and graphic areas that need to work together.
