Inputs for an Oregon Convention Center Exhibi

Send current needs and reusable assets in one record:
• Event, hall, booth and current manual
• Target buyers, products and sales outcome
• Existing structures, graphics and condition photos
• Required changes, demonstrations and meeting needs
• Utilities, rigging, internet and freight plan
• Budget, approvals and requested King scope

Make Reuse a Design and Procurement Decision

A reusable exhibit is valuable only when the current audience can still understand the offer and the components remain fit for service. King Exhibits begins with an asset audit, then separates the stable system from the parts that must change. Rental frames, counters and storage may carry forward, while product supports, graphics or a focal feature can be updated for a new buyer story. OCC’s sustainability guidance and waste-diversion resources support a more disciplined closeout conversation. Its exclusive utility and service responsibilities remain a separate track. Procurement receives a record of what is rented, fabricated, reused, replaced and assigned after the show instead of a vague sustainability claim.

Test Every Existing Component against the Current Sales Goal

List each frame, counter, panel, light, mount, crate and graphic with dimensions, condition and ownership. Then ask whether it supports the product, audience and booth footprint for this event. Reuse should earn its place in the design; keeping an awkward component can create more labor and weaker communication than replacing it. King Exhibits can use the audit to develop a revised 3D layout and identify repairs, new interfaces or rental additions within scope.

Refresh the Buyer Experience at the Highest-Value Touchpoints

Refresh the Buyer Experience at the Highest-Value Touchpoints

A new graphic skin alone may not solve a changed product strategy. Identify where the buyer first recognizes the offer, handles the product, sees proof and begins a serious conversation. Update those touchpoints first. A new demonstration support, focused light, product wall or meeting interface can change the experience while much of the underlying system remains stable. King Exhibits can design and fabricate the targeted changes so they connect correctly with retained components.

Build the Recovery Plan into Packing and Closeou

Assign every piece to return, storage, next show, recycling, donation or approved disposal before move-in. Use component IDs that match the drawing and pack list so crews do not treat reusable assets as unclaimed material. OCC states that it does not accept or ship exhibitor freight or drayage, and larger events route shipping through the show decorator. King Exhibits can prepare component and packing records within scope; authorized parties control on-site freight handling and removal.

Keep Sustainability Claims Tied to Evidence

Keep Sustainability Claims Tied to Evidence

Decide what the company can document: retained components, reduced replacement, rented inventory, recyclable graphic media, consolidated packing or a planned second use. Avoid promising a broad environmental outcome that the project record cannot support. King Exhibits can organize the booth asset schedule and production choices around approved claims. OCC publishes sustainability and waste-diversion resources, but the exhibitor remains responsible for its public statements, reporting method and any product-level environmental claim.

Senzani — 20×30 Exhibit at PACK EXPO 2025

Senzani’s completed 20×30 exhibit is a verified King Exhibits reference for integrating equipment, branded architecture and buyer discussion within a defined footprint. It was delivered for PACK EXPO 2025, not at Oregon Convention Center. Buyers can use it to assess product positioning and production finish. A Portland project would receive its own asset audit, material choices, service plan, freight route and post-show recovery record under the accepted written scope.

WHY KING EXHIBITS FOR REUSABLE EXHIBIT SYSTEMS

Design, Fabrication and Packing Can Use the Same Asset Record

Oregon Convention Center advantage
Oregon Convention Center advantage

King Exhibits has supported U.S. exhibit projects since 2008. Las Vegas-based production support combines 3D design, rental preparation, custom graphics, CNC work and wood fabrication. Existing components can be reviewed against new supports, graphics, openings and packed-piece IDs before release. Important assemblies may be checked before packing when included in scope. Freight coordination, installation and dismantling, audiovisual support and storage apply only when accepted in writing. OCC, the organizer and designated providers retain responsibility for exclusive utilities, freight handling, labor, waste procedures, rigging, catering and event operations.

Can we reuse an existing booth at Oregon Convention Center?

Usually, after the assets are checked against the current footprint, products, buyer objective, condition and event rules. Send drawings, inventory, photos, ownership and packing records. King Exhibits can identify retained components, repairs, rental additions, new graphics and required interfaces within scope. OCC, the organizer and designated providers still determine current service, freight, labor, rigging, safety and installation requirements for the assigned show.

Does OCC handle exhibitor freight or drayage?

OCC states that it does not accept or ship exhibitor freight or drayage. For larger conventions and trade shows, shipping is arranged through the organization’s third-party decorator. Confirm the current event manual and decorator instructions before routing any shipment. King Exhibits can prepare packing information and coordinate freight when accepted in writing, but the designated material handler controls receiving, movement, storage and outbound release on site.

Which services are exclusive at Oregon Convention Center?

OCC currently identifies food and beverage, utilities including electrical, compressed air, water, natural gas, telecommunications and internet, booth and aisle vacuuming, admission personnel, ticketing and medical specialists among its exclusive services. Current event arrangements and order deadlines still need verification. King Exhibits can document booth requirements, while OCC and assigned providers price, approve, install or perform the services under their authority.

What should we send for an OCC booth proposal?

Send the event, hall, booth number, current manual, target buyers, products, existing exhibit drawings, condition photos, inventory, ownership, graphics, demonstrations, utilities, rigging, internet, freight, post-show destination, budget, approval date and requested King scope. King Exhibits will develop the updated physical environment and identify OCC, organizer or provider work that requires separate confirmation, ordering, approval or closeout coordination.
